Regarding Iron Lines/ Omtrent IJzeren Lijnen

 This is one of the many photos I took and will take in a train compartment. From 19/01 2024 to 17/02 2024 I will show photos out of the magic world of train travel, railway lines, passengers and stations in the exhibition "Regarding Iron Lines" in Gallery WM in Amsterdam. A photographic show of analogue black and white vintage prints from the 90s of the previous century as well as digital color prints from 2023.

February 17.

Went to the Rothko exhibition today with a friend. Overcrowded. To many spectators for paintings which I hesitate to consider as masterpieces. Anyway I went to the Sol Lewitt stairway, and I saw this zebra shirted lady watching her email on the Iphone. Coincidence? Den Haag, Gemeentemusuem (The Hague, Municipal Museum) 1.44 pm.

Zelfportret (oud)

Vanwege overigens lichte griepachtige verschijnselen bij Uw fotograaf een zelfportret uit de oude doos. Gemaakt in een openbare telefooncel in de Van Swindenstraat in Amsterdam. De titel, die ik dit werkje indertijd meegaf: Midnight Call. Je moet er maar opkomen.

Cellphoneblues (zelfportret # 25)

Kortelings was mijn Nokia stuk. In de winkel nam ik een nieuw abonnement met daarbij een gratis nieuw toestel. Een Samsung. Met veel snufjes en mogelijkheden, waar ik voortdurend in verdwaal.
