Reflections, for instance in shopping windows or train windows, when the
train is riding through a tunnel, can be a powerful tool to create strange
images. One can combine two worlds that
in reality are different ones into just one image. This results into an image
which is in fact impossible. We don’t see it, because we look at the world with
two eyes. This allows us to perceive depth. The camera can’t do it, it has only
one lens.
This is the reason I often look at shopping windows with one eye closed.
